This week was filled with excitement. Northeastern Chancellor and Senior Vice President for Learning Ken Henderson was formally made an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire at Windsor Castle on Tuesday. The recognition by the British Royal Family is one of the U.K.’s highest honors. Meanwhile, Miranda Shinn, a project management student at Northeastern’s Portland campus, cruised along the waters of Maine, where she is the project manager for Lift All Boats. In Boston, Northeastern’s City and Community Engagement and Sustainability offices teamed up to bring extreme heat education, fun activities and cool treats to Edgerly Plaza on Wednesday.
