From international conferences and faculty research to memoirs, Mars rovers and summer snapshots, it was a week full of movement across Northeastern’s campuses. President Joseph E. Aoun spoke at the International Boys School Coalition 2025 Higher Education conference, highlighting the role of higher education in a changing world.

On the Burlington campus, Alberto De la Torre Duran, assistant professor in the department of physics, worked on cutting-edge experiments at the Innovation campus. On the Boston campus, students fine-tuned their robotic rover and celebrated the release of new books by faculty and graduates. Between it all, umbrellas popped against the heat, and water droplets sparkled across campus green spaces.
